AFDSOLUTIONS

About AFD Solutions

An independent read on Agentforce, Data and Salesforce.

Advantage: Tangible Outcomes

We are usually brought in at the point where AI has been agreed in principle but nobody can yet say what it will run on, what it will cost, or how it will keep getting better. That gap is the whole of our work.

Our position

The interesting problems are one layer down

Standing up an agent is no longer difficult. Deciding which process deserves one, grounding it on data that can be trusted, containing what it is allowed to do, and knowing what each interaction costs to run — that is where programmes succeed or quietly stall.

So our work sits underneath the visible layer: business cases with measured baselines, data foundations with known quality, and independent forecasts of credit and licence consumption. It is less impressive in a demo and considerably more useful in year two.

We are small on purpose. It keeps the people who scope an engagement on the engagement, and it means we can decline work that sits outside Agentforce, Data and Salesforce.

What you get

Three things that shape every engagement

Independent by design

  • No licence resale and no reseller margin
  • No implementation upsell riding on an audit finding
  • Assumptions published alongside every recommendation
  • Comfortable telling you not to build something

Engineering-first

  • The data foundation before the demo
  • Failure modes designed for, not discovered
  • Automation kept legible for whoever comes next
  • Decisions recorded, including the rejected options

Built for handover

  • Upskilling written into the scope
  • Runbooks and documentation as deliverables
  • Pairing with your admins and architects throughout
  • Explicit criteria for when we step back

How we are set up

The structural reasons we can say what we say

Senior-led delivery

The people who scope the work are the people who do it. No handoff to a team you have not met.

Bounded engagements

Scoped to produce a decision or a working increment, not to occupy a standing bench.

No conflicting incentives

Nothing in our commercial model improves when you buy more licences or credits.

Continuous improvement as a habit

Kaizen™ is how we work generally, not only the name of one offering.

Depth over breadth

Agentforce, Data Cloud and the core Salesforce platform. We decline work outside that.

AI used on our own work

We automate our own repetitive analysis with AI tooling, which is why we can be specific about where it helps you.

Values

Six things we actually argue about internally

Say the inconvenient thing early
A constraint raised in week one is a scoping decision. The same constraint raised in month four is a crisis.
Numbers over narrative
A baseline you measured beats a benefit you asserted. If we cannot measure it, we say so rather than estimating around it.
Small, reversible changes
Frequent modest changes with a rollback path beat quarterly releases that require everyone in the room.
Write it down
Undocumented reasoning is the most expensive thing in a Salesforce estate. Decision records are part of the work.
Design for the run cost
Credits and licences are consumed by design choices. We forecast them while the design can still change.
Plan the exit
The goal is a team that no longer needs us for this. Dependence is a failure mode, not a business model.

Our team
