Not every engagement needs every role. The scoping conversation settles which of these you are paying for.
Engagement principal
Owns the commercial argument and the sequencing. Writes the business case, runs the decision points, and is the person you escalate to.
Agentforce engineer
Designs topics, actions and guardrails; builds the proof of concept; runs the weekly transcript and action review.
Data architect
Owns the model, harmonisation and identity resolution — and the honest assessment of whether the data can support the use case.
Platform engineer
Configuration, code, integration patterns and release practice on the core Salesforce platform.
Consumption analyst
Builds the credit and licence model, tests it against observed usage, and keeps the forecast honest as the design changes.
Enablement lead
Pairs with your admins and process owners, writes the runbooks, and makes sure the handover is real rather than ceremonial.
